SUMMARY
Laura Lehman is a TV host, reporter and producer with over five years of experience in the industry.
She currently works as a host on RogersTV Peel with a weekly show ROPSSAA Sports that airs every Friday night. She also is a reporter for RogersTV Peel, reporting stories from live events in the community.
Laura Lehman has a variety of experience in the journalism field: from writing for local newspapers, magazines and websites to interviewing on radio and television. She has conducted numerous interviews ranging from famous athletes and coaches to musicians, established theatre directors, opera singers and actors. She loves producing and editing feature stories, interviewing, gathering news, taking photos, managing social media platforms and shooting b-roll.
Laura has been a valedictorian, host, and MC for a variety live events with audiences of over 30,000 people. She has been an on-air personality for national broadcasts such as the Canadian Junior Football Championships and as a guest on multiple radio stations. She has won oral communications competitions at a variety of levels since 2004.

WORLD EXPERIENCE
WRITING: From 2009-2011, Laura wrote articles for print publications: Sports Xpress & Saltlfeet News.She had work published in the Stoney Creek News as well as the Hamilton Spectator.
From 2011-2015 she covered local Toronto news for Ryerson community papers. This includes closely following and covering these cases: former Mayor Rob Ford's ongoing Drug scandal, The 2011 Smellie Murder case, Occupy Toronto protests, Toronto City Council Big Oil & Pipline debate and Toronto Mayoral elections.
From 2013-2015 she was the Sports Beat Reporter for the Ryersonian. She had the pleasure of covering the press conference that announced Rogers Sportsnet's 5.2 billion dollar NHL broadcast deal. During this time she also contributed to the health and science news and business news sections.
ACTING: She has local acting experience. Has acted in musicals, community plays, commercials and promotional videos for multiple outlets including Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club, Sportsnet, Mattel Board Games and for independent production companies in Los Angeles.
PRODUCING: Laura has been the producer of an original documentary Painting a Path, and an assistant producer for creative content feature stories for the AHL (American Hockey League) during the 2012-2013 NHL Lockout.

GIVING BACK: She volunteers as a leader for youth each week at the Meeting House. Laura finds joy in supporting compassion initiatives such as AIDS Care and the Coldest Night of the year. She had the opportunity to visit her Compassion "sister" in the Dominican Republic in 2014.
